CRIMFit - Raising funds for youth and at-risk people in the community

Lithgow Correctional Centre is running CRIMFit - a strongman and CrossFit-style fitness event - and they've chosen the Terry Campese Foundation as their cause.

CRIMFit gives inmates the opportunity to organise and run their own fundraising event - a chance to build phyiscal fitness, take on a challenge, and make a positive contribution to the community while they complete their sentence.

Participants choose the cause, train for the event, and raise the funds themselves.

Lithgow isn't the first. In 2023, Macquarie Correctional Centre ran CrimFit and chose TCF - raising $20,000 for the foundation's work building brighter futures for youth and at-risk members of the community. Lithgow has chosen TCF again. And they're aiming to beat $20,000.
